Welcome to
Concannon Vineyard, home of America's first Irish vintner, the world's first
Petite Sirah and some of the best varietal wines anywhere. James Concannon began
making intriguing wines in the rocky soil of the Livermore Valley in 1883. His
passion for family and fine wine is evident in every aspect of Concannon
Vineyard, from the Victorian home built in 1884 to our landmark winery and
award-winning wines. We invite you to taste the fruit of our winery and
celebrate the Concannon legacy with your family and friends. It's all still here
for your enjoyment—roots, rocks and intrigue.
The big news at Concannon Vineyard is the expansion of our Heritage Petite
Sirah plantings. Concannon has been widely recognized for crafting
full-flavored, complex and award-winning wines. We are developing Rhone
varieties and expanding production of our currently much heralded Petite Sirah
with new plantings, drip irrigation and vertical trellis positioning.
