Candoni was established over 150 years ago by the Candoni family, who have been successful food and wine merchants throughout Italy since the 1800’s. Around 1920 the Candoni family business expanded with the creation of the Candoni estate winery. With 550 acres of the Candoni estate under vine, the family- owned estate draws upon the unspoiled countryside of Italy to produce diverse and dynamic wines: Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Chianti and the sparkling Prosecco.

According to Italian wine experts, "Candoni has consistently produced some of the finest gourmet products and we believe the new line of Candoni wines will be just as highly rated and very profitable for on- and off- premise markets.

Candoni Pinot Grigio is obtained from gently pressed Pinot Grigio grapes vinified off the skins, and is a pale-straw colored wine, with hints of green and a fine, delicate bouquet with full, dry, well-balanced flavor. Candoni Merlot is mellow, but still complex and a bit chewy, making it a perfect partner to grilled meats, hearty soups and cheeses. Candoni Chianti comes from a very careful selection of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. Excellent with red meats and hearty soups. Candoni's sparkling Prosecco has a bright straw yellow color with lively froth and persistent perlage. The dry, full-bodied and fruity taste is distinctive of the Charmat method.
