In 1996, the organization relocated its offices from the nation’s capital to Columbia, Maryland, centrally located between the metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. In 2002, due to the increasing size of A.V. Imports, the office completed its second expansion to accommodate the size of the company. However, growth is measured in more than just square feet of office space. Having only 2 employees upon its conception, A.V. Imports, Inc. today counts 30 office staff and 60 field sales representatives amongst its staff. In addition, the corporation now imports wines and spirits from 10 countries around the world, including Australia, Chile, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, and Spain. A.V. Imports, Inc. products can be found throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Aruba, and the Bahamas. |

In
the beginning, A.V. Imports, Inc. (the ‘A’ and the ‘V’ standing for ‘acqua’ and
‘vino’, respectively) called a small office in Washington, D.C. home. At the
time, the company imported select wines from Italy, Spain, and Portugal, as well
as bottled water, olive oil, and vinegar.
